No sooner does Abe’s (James Reynolds) loved ones gather to say goodbye to him than it’s discovered his daughter is missing. Lani (Sal Stowers) fails to check in to go back to prison, and widespread panic ensues. There is no way this upscale member of society would just up and run, right? Of course not.
Rafe (Galen Gering) and Paulina (Jackée Harry) are especially panicked. This simply is not like Lani. She has mere months before she’s a truly free woman. They just cannot see her risking it all. Something is wrong here. Very wrong.

At the same time, Steve (Stephen Nichols) and John (Drake Hogestyn) break into Jerry’s (Terrell Ransom Jr.) apartment. The young man better hope he covered his tracks because one rogue clue will be his undoing.
This is going to be quite a thorough search, indeed. John and Steve will leave no stone (couch, TV, or drawer) left unturned. They are sure Abe is still alive, and they are certain Jerry knows what’s up. They are right. They just need to prove it.

Speaking of missing people, Belle (Martha Madison) and Jada (Elia Cantu) talk about a particular child. They have a deep discussion about Rachel (Finley Rose Slater) and what’s really going on with the little girl. It’s quite a frustrating case that has them both on edge.
