General Hospital is becoming engrossing for its fans to watch with the plot of Sonny’s relationship. We know he is currently with Nina, and marriage is ahead, but let’s not forget about Nina’s dark truth (SEC). Hence, their relationship might go down in flames if that is exposed. And there is little to no possibility of Carly and Sonny uniting, right off the bat. Therefore, wouldn’t seeing a new character enter the picture be exciting? General Hospital: Will The Long Lost Friend Return To Sonny?
A few years ago, on General Hospital, Sonny had a woman who was his foe turned friend, Margaux Dawson, played by actress Elizabeth Hendrickson. However, ardent soap viewers know that Margaux is not Elizabeth’s only claim to Daytime fame! Most recently, she graced the TV screens as Chloe on The Young and The Restless. But as we recently reported, Elizabeth is not on contract with Y&R anymore! This has come as great news for General Hospital fans, as they now want her back on GH! Moreover, the exciting part here is that even Maurice Benard agreed to it!
Over the years, Sonny has had multiple romantic partners on the show, but he is yet to permanently settle down. Although he has Nina and Carly on his plate, there was another woman who entered his orbit about four years ago. Margaux was introduced to General Hospital as Port Charles’ district attorney and as someone who tried to take Sonny down. But after a sentimental incident in her life, she and Sonny became friends. However, before they could grow their relationship any further, she got involved in Shiloh’s cult and resigned as the district attorney of Port Charles.
The bigger question here is, has she left the town for good or could she eventually make her way back? Margaux could do many things if she returned to Port Charles and into Sonny’s life. Her return would spice up the storyline and drive Nina and Carly insane! She might once again embark on the mission to take down Sonny. Or drop those plans for something more rosy, if she falls in love with him. What do you think might happen if Margaux returns to General Hospital?
