In some recent episodes of Little People, Big World, Matt Roloff talked openly about his fraying relationship with his kids Zach and Jeremy. The LPBW family patriarch has frequently stated that his greatest want is for his sons to forgive him.
However, it appears from their social media posts that their relationship is still uneasy and strained. Despite this, Matt is still willing to give it a shot. For the 33rd birthday of his twin kids, he just published a post. Surprisingly, Zach hasn’t yet commented on the positive post.
LPBW: Matt Wishes The Twins A Happy Birthday While Zach Avoids Him?
Matt Roloff always envisioned his children inheriting the family farms. The LPBW star, however, changed his mind when it was time to make this modification. It also led to strains within the family. Since then, the patriarch of Little People, Big World has frequently declared his desire to make amends with his sons.
He tried again on Zach and Jeremy’s birthday. Like his ex-wife Amy Roloff, Matt sent his boys Jeremy and Zach a number of throwback photos while sending them wishes and thinking back to earlier times. He included a video showing the twins riding a mule for the first time on the farm towards the end of the Instagram carousel.
The first person to respond in the comments section was Audrey Roloff, Jeremy’s wife, who expressed her shock that Matt still had the tape all these years later. Jeremy, her husband, concurred and praised the final film as “gold.” Additionally, Matt told his kid that the clip was the best in his response. Sadly, despite all of this, Zach failed to respond on the charming post.
Fans started to question whether he was still resentful of the conflict. They were disappointed that he chose to disregard such a kind gesture from his father. Others, however, pointed out that Zach also neglected to post a birthday message for his wife, Tori. Therefore, it’s likely that he hasn’t used social media much or that there is a problem with his Instagram handle.

Because of their disappointment over the failed farm deal, Zach and Tori relocated from Oregon to Battleground, Washington, in search of a new start. After their argument, Matt Roloff made numerous attempts to heal fences, but to no avail. In one of the episodes, he also showed up at the LPBW couple’s home with a lawnmower. He was interested in learning more about Zach’s new home and the plans he had for the property. But despite his father’s efforts to mend their relationship, his son remained indifferent.
Zach said in his confessionals that he had reached a “certain age” where he was unable to ignore all the ways his father, Matt, irritated him. He didn’t feel like asking his father for forgiveness because he had denied him the opportunity to live on the farm with his family.
