Shawn (Brandon Beemer) is ready to be a cop again, he says. But, is he really? Sure, it will be nice to be on the job, but it’s clear a part of his posse is missing. Rafe’s (Galen Gering) presence is sorely missed at the station. It’s a fact that digs at Shawn, considering his part in Rafe’s firing.
Will his guilt become a distraction? Let’s hope not! Crime may be low right now in Salem, but there is always trouble brewing, and Shawn needs to be at the top of his game. Maybe a sincere “sorry” will be good for the soul.
DOOL Spoilers: Help Needed
Speaking of apologies, will Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) implore Abe (James Reynolds) to issue one to his wife? He may not remember Paulina (Jackée Harry), but that woman loves him like nobody’s business. A little kindness would go a very long way.
As if Abe’s amnesia isn’t enough for one family to deal with, Chanel (Raven Bowens) runs into more trouble at her bakery. Her business is barely recovered from the doping incident, so poor Chanel is just about ready to break. She needs help — and, we’re sure, help is on the way! If she’ll take it, that is.

Over at Bayview, Marlena (Deidre Hall) gets quite a shock when she shows up to check in on Harris (Steve Burton). Instead of a nice visit, she witnesses a familiar face causing a scene. Ava (Tamara Braun) stirs the pot, and things go off the rails pretty quickly.
