Colin’s greatest desire is for Paulina and Chanel to endure the same kind of suffering that he and his father Nathan Bedford (an uncast character) did.
Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty), who is much older than him, was away at school when their parents passed away.
Since they lost their parents, he has experienced psychotic outbursts and stays in mental hospitals. He determines that replicating Chanel’s “crime” will be the ideal method to hold those accountable accountable.
Paulina battles off panic attack after panic episode while being forced to the roof by Colin, who knows she is prone to them, after knocking out Abe and holding a gun to her head. However, he wants to do that personally while Chanel is made to watch, because he doesn’t want her panic attacks to cause a heart attack that will kill her.

Paulina and Chanel need to understand that Colin is in charge right now, so he first has them walk to the edge of the roof.
He commands her to image herself twisted and crushed in a pool of blood at the bottom as she looks down at the traffic below. Colin tells Paulina to stop talking right once since all she can think about is Abe and whether Colin murdered him with the strike with the rolling pin.
As he keeps tormenting Paulina, he texts Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) to locate Chanel and bring her to the bakery’s roof.
He wants Paulina to endure pain all the way up until her death so that she can witness Chanel’s expression as he rushes her and pushes her off the roof.

Colin keeps torturing Paulina while Chanel emerges at the roof’s entrance and shouts, “Mama!” They’re dealing with a crazy person, and he might have killed Abe, Paulina screams, telling Chanel to get away!
The mother and daughter both get terrified as Colin keeps torturing Chanel and taunts her that she will witness what happened to his mother happening to hers.
Talia observes, incredulous that she could have been duped by this Svengali because she has never seen her partner in this light.
Colin continues to recreate Martha Bedford’s demise and adds a twist by pushing Chanel over the edge so that she can push Paulina!
