According to Wednesday, May 24, Young and the Restless (Y&R) teasers, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) is about to snap under the immense weight of having to keep quiet about her mother.
She is aware that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), her husband Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and now most of Genoa City, Wisconsin, are aware of her existence. Even though she was the first to learn, she kept that small nugget to herself.
Summer agrees to spend an evening out with Kyle, but her conscience interferes.

She will, however, apologise to him for keeping her distance while Diane Jenkins, his mother, remains charged with Red’s murder (Susan Walters).

The matriarch of the community, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), tries to control her adult daughter Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), who is stubborn. Where others have failed, will she succeed?

Victoria’s close family is now aware that she is dating Nate Hastings, a treacherous employee who works for her (Sean Dominic). Victoria believes he is the right person to entrust with both her business and her emotions despite the fact that he has demonstrated his disloyalty in practically every area of his life. Nikki steps in at this point to warn Victoria about the love rat, but will she heed her words?
When Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) returns to the ranch, she sees her brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and her kind of lover Tucker McCall (Trevor St. Johnson) fighting. She thinks the worst of Jack, but he promptly responds by assuring her that he is fully aware of her plot to assassinate Jabot.
She won’t back down and accuses him of having a clouded perspective due to his emotions for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Diane steps up to defend Jack, which enrages Ashley even more.
Jack adds insult to injury by informing his sister that Diane would be a far better Abbott candidate than Tucker, who is savoring every word of the conversation.

Bratty Tucker doesn’t correct Ashley when she goes on to say that she and he are engaged. After all, he claims he wants to wed the stunning blonde. A marriage entered into out of spite can’t end well. However, shocking TV show hints suggest that Ashley won’t give up and that her hasty marriage decision infuriates Jack even more, possibly prompting him to recall the old “Abbott Blood” catchphrase he uses whenever he feels threatened by Ashley.
