Hidden Family Ties: Nurse Whitley’s Striking Likeness to Paulina Sparks Suspicion of a Secret Sisterhood
Days of Our Lives spoilers and speculations imply that Nurse Whitley (Kim Coles) and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) resemble each other so closely that they might be related. Could Olivia Price (Marla Gibbs), the mother of Paulina and Tamara Price (Marilyn McCoo), be concealing a secret younger daughter and sister?

Lani Price (Sal Stowers), who was allegedly Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) child, was raised by Tamara as a result of Paulina’s history with violent partners and ex-husbands. The devil may have forced someone to do it, but ultimately everything worked out great for the family who kept the secret for years before it was discovered. When Abe and Paulina got married, he lost his daughter but acquired a stepdaughter and two grandchildren.
Everything was going smoothly until Ray Coates (William Christian) arrived in town; Lani shot and murdered him to protect Paulina and was sentenced to prison as a result. And when Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) moved to town, additional family secrets were revealed. One can only hope that she will leave before the twins are old enough to remember.
DOOL Spoilers: That Nurse Whitley Seems to Be Out of Balance
There’s something strange about Nurse Whitley assuming she was Paulina after waking up from brain surgery and taking one glance at a perplexed Abe. Despite pretending not to know the name “Paulina” and to be her, Nurse Whitley got immediately fixated on him! When she brought Whitley to her tiny flat, which was filled with her collection of cats, she stated that she was their caretaker. However, no one would acknowledge to the one member of the family that blatantly left the nest, possibly with a cat hot on his tail. Interestingly, Whitley was able to imitate Paulina’s speech patterns perfectly, even though it appeared that she was unaware of Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens).
Spoilers for Days of Our Lives: Abe Carver regaining some memory
Abe is regaining some memory, so soon he’ll realize that Whitley is not Paulina. Maybe when he tells Lani, she’ll recognize the name. If Whitley doesn’t know Chanel, it could make sense that Paulina moved out of the family home when she was a teenager and became pregnant with Lani. It would have been maintained a secret if Whitley had been institutionalized when she was an adolescent, perhaps six to ten years Whitley’s junior.
Whitley is several years younger than Paulina, which makes sense given that Tamara is several years older. Additionally, it seems logical to conceal the younger sister’s instability in this secretive household.
