Recently, Kate Mansi replaced Kristina on General Hospital, and it has created a buzz amongst Lexi’s fans. Recently, Kate gave an interview where she addressed GH fans’ concerns over the replacement. She said that she’s looking forward to her storyline in the coming days on General Hospital. Kate Mansi Opens Up About Joining General Hospital
We know that Kate has replaced Lexi in General Hospital, and now, she decided to address Lexi’s fans’ concerns about the replacement. We know that Marci Miller replaced Kate as Abigail on Days Of Our Lives, yet fans have accepted the new replacement. Therefore, while speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Kate Mansi said that she totally understands that it might take some time for viewers to adjust to the new face. Kate added that she has immense respect for Lexi and will remain friends with her like before. She also stated that there could be slight differences between the two performances, but ultimately, it is the nature of daytime! Kate is hopeful that viewers might accept her as Kristina some time or the other.
Kate Mansi debuted on General Hospital in the May 24th episode as Kristina Corinthos Davis. The storyline of Kristina was taking prominence during Lexi’s time on the daytime. Kate has taken over the role and has taken on the storyline just like Lexi, with grace and power. If we look at the story, Kristina was building an LGBTQ+ youth shelter with the support of her father, Sonny. Now Kate Mansi is doing all of that as our new and favorite Kristina.

Recasting the actors is inevitable in soap operas. Kristina from General Hospital has gained a huge fanbase over the years but fans have seen different actors portraying her. In 2009, Lexi Ainsworth entered the daytime as Kristina and won hearts until she left in 2011. Then, the role was portrayed by Lindsey Morgan till 2013. And boom! Lexi returned as Kristina in 2015 and left with bittersweet feelings recently in May 2023. Currently, the role is portrayed by Kate Mansi. Yes, Lexi was the actor who acted as Kristina for the longest time.
