General Hospital spoilers tease Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is not one to let personal connections cloud his judgment. Despite being in a relationship with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), whose family is entangled in a web of white-collar crimes, Chase remains committed to upholding the law. When Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) said Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) shoved Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) — causing his fall and resulting injury — Chase took her seriously and followed up on the claims, bringing Drew in for questioning right away.

As an upstanding law enforcement officer, Chase knows that his duty is to practice the law by the book, regardless of personal relationships. The same applies to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros, though he’s currently biding his time in making any moves against her. But it’s not because she is Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) mother or a good friend to Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson). Rather, it’s because Chase knows how to build a case.

General Hospital Spoilers — Harrison Chase Has Questions

Recent events have put Nina in a fairly precarious position. After witnessing Ned’s accident at the Metro Court pool, she chose not to speak up about what she saw. This lie of omission could have severe consequences, especially considering her partial ownership of the establishment and the potential liability she may face. While Nina may have hoped to keep her involvement under wraps, rumors suggest that her secret won’t remain hidden for long now that Chase knows all about it.

The video footage of Nina watching the horror scene play out as 9-1-1 was called, and her decision to back away entirely and leave the pool area without checking in on the injured guest and his family, spoke volumes to Chase. But what was her motive? Why would she shy away from offering her help?

These questions and more will drive Chase to dig deeper into Nina’s recent behaviors, searching for any clues that could shed light on her true intentions. Tracy might have been telling tall tales at the time, but the video footage is going to reveal she isn’t lying when she claims Ned was in a rush to tell Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) something when he bolted through the pool area and fell, hitting his head. At first, Chase may consider that whatever he had to tell Drew was far from important to the case, but what if Nina wasn’t just walking by out of happenstance?

General Hospital Spoilers — Nina Reeves Knows The Truth

It will dawn on Chase that Ned’s expedience may not have been about mere urgency to tell Drew something, but that he was quickly getting away from someone else. Might that someone have been Nina? Pulling the video footage from other areas around the Metro Court just prior to Ned entering the pool area could fill in many gaps in this story. How will Nina react when Chase pinpoints her as being the last person to interact with Ned before his tragic fall? Moreover, how are the Quartermaines going to react?
