Geoffrey Paschel, the star of the 90 Day Fiance, ended up being highly erratic. As soon as he ceased appearing on the show, viewers learned about it. He gained notoriety for the violent assault and abduction of his ex. The celebrity has been given a prison sentence of nearly two decades, or 18 years. He nonetheless made an appeal, hoping to establish his innocence. The appeal procedure is currently at its final phase as the court heard “oral arguments” from his lawyer.

What transpired during Geoffrey Paschel’s appeal during the 90-Day Fiance

After his appearance on 90 Day Fiance almost two years ago, Geoffrey Paschel gained notoriety. He was found guilty by the court of kidnapping one of his ex-wives and domestic abuse. They then sentenced him to 18 years in prison and sent him there! The individual, however, didn’t give up and asked his lawyers to submit a “appeal.” Now that the procedure is nearing its conclusion, his attorneys have made “oral arguments” pleading with the court to order a new trial. However, neither physically nor virtually, Geoffrey was not present in the court for the same.

M. Jeffery Whitt, the lawyer for the television personality, concentrated his oral case for Geoffrey’s retrial on two witnesses. It turns out that one of the officers on the scene said the convict’s chest scratches appeared to be “self-inflicted.” The policeman, according to Whitt, was not a “expert.” His testimony was therefore essentially useless. However, the 90 Day Fiance star’s ex claimed that he removed their exchange of text messages from her phone. He also removed images off the device at the same time. Some of the pictures were taken at the time the woman photographed her former injuries from being harmed by her ex.

Therefore, the attorney contended that historical abuse incidents were not acceptable. The statement made by Geoffrey’s ex, in his words, was like a bell that could not be “unrung.” Whitt claimed that the case was beginning to resemble a “he said/she said” situation. Therefore, based on these considerations, his client should receive a new trial.
