Sonny Provides A Resolution To Carly’s SEC Issue On General Hospital
Carly is currently embroiled in an insider trading dispute with the SEC. She regrettably can’t currently see any ways to get herself out of the mud pit. There are opportunities for Sonny to assist her, though. Sonny paid a visit to the hospital where Willow underwent her bone marrow transplant in the most recent episode of General Hospital. For Willow’s sake, Sonny pleaded with Michael, Josslyn, and Carly to put all their issues with him behind them.
When Carly and Sonny were together themselves, they began to talk about her insider trading case. Carly expressed her concern that the Justice Department will visit her soon to question her about Sonny. If the government offers Carly a bargain in exchange for turning him in, he begged her to do so. Michael and Josslyn agreed as soon as Carly informed them. Josslyn believed that Michael’s desire for Sonny’s arrest would free Dex from the mob lifestyle. Sonny being given to the feds will benefit all of Carly’s children, in their eyes.
Nina’s SEC Truth Revealed: Carly Ruins Her Chance at Wedding
On General Hospital, Nina worries that if the truth about the SEC leak is revealed, she would miss her chance to date Sonny. Additionally, she worries that if he finds out the truth about her finger-pointing, he would call off their engagement. Nina is also concerned that Willow, her daughter, may grow increasingly distant from her. Therefore, Nina believes that if Carly and Drew confess, all of her dread will go and she may blissfully wed Sonny. She is attempting to divide them by creating reports that Carly may contemplate giving a false testimony against Drew.
Together with Olivia, Nina concocted the rumor to tie everything together. She has no idea, though, that her false rumor could have disastrous consequences. What will Carly do to cause Nina the most harm possible if she learns about this? Will she let Sonny know? Alternatively, will she take the severe action of turning Sonny in to the Feds, ending Nina’s chances of getting married to him?
