Likewise, Gladys understands what it feels like to lose a son as well. They are bonded over their shared traumas and it may help them to see eye to eye. And let’s be honest, these two don’t really have a storyline without playing off of one another.

Sasha ought to comprehend what Gladys has been going through if we’re being honest. Even though Gladys may have lost tens of thousands of dollars, if not more, she has been struggling to deal with the death of her own kid. Even though she did a good job of hiding it, she didn’t have a lot of free time to care for herself because she was Sasha’s only supporter throughout this time. For a while, Sasha might struggle with remorse over that. However, in Sasha’s perspective, Gladys’ gambling addiction is no different from her own with addiction.
