90 Day Fiance took over the world with its unique concept of blending love and culture. Over the years, TLC gave rise to many spin-offs apart from the original show. Well, one of them is The Other Way. In this edition, American citizens uproot their lives to live in a foreign country to be with their partners. After Season 4 wrapped up in May, the network announced its successor would follow soon after in July! So, who all are joining the TLC family in Season 5? Let’s find out.
Sarper (Turkey) & Shekina (Los Angeles)
This couple fell for each other only after two days after they started talking. Shekina, an aesthetician, was in Turkey for a trip when she met Sarper. Now, the former has left her nest to move aboard to be with her man. Despite her family and friends warning her that she is avoiding all the red flags as Sarper appears to be a playboy, Shekina insists it is “different.” It would be interesting to watch if their doubts are genuine or not.
Kristen (Netherlands) & Julio (New York)
Next up on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Season 5 is this unique couple. Kristen and Julio were able to solidify their relationship after staying together in quarantine for a week. The latter is a DJ who has decided to sacrifice everything for his Dutch beauty and live with her in the Netherlands. Before that, his lady love agreed to visit him in New York and meet his mom for the first time, too. But not everything is crystal clear between the two, as Kristen has a big secret.
Tejaswi (India) & Kimberly (Alabama)
It’s not the first time 90 Day Fiance Other Way would be introducing a couple based in India. After Sumit-Jenny and Rishi-Jen, fans will get to meet Kimberly and Tejaswi. The former claims to be a “clairvoyant.” In fact, she met her partner first in a dream and is ready to move to India to marry him within ten days. However, things won’t go as smoothly as they expected. That’s because Kimberly will lose her cool, as Tejaswi wouldn’t let her be part of the lavish wedding preparations.
Holly (Utah) & Wayne (South Africa)
90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Season 5 is ready to feature Holly, who is a hairdresser based in Utah, looking for her fairytale romance. She managed to find love in Wayne, an entrepreneur from South Africa. However, the former’s family has their doubts about this man. Hence, Holly’s mother would accompany her during this visit to make sure she was with the right person. Fans are excited to see some possible family drama unfolding in this segment.
Brendan (Oregon) & Mary (Philippines)
Brendan and Mary have been inseparable since they met one another virtually. Since then, they have liked doing it everything together, be it cooking or even doing their business in the bathroom! Because of this possessive behavior, Brendan’s mom and sister appeared worried for him. But he has invested too much in this relationship by starting to build a home for them in the Philipines!
One of the most favorite drama free 90 Day Fiance couples is back again! Kenny and Armando became the first ever couple on the show to showcase their same-sex romance, breaking many barriers and making the LGBTQIA+ community proud. They are back again in season five to showcase more of their life. Well, it looks like they are still in a fix when it comes to adopting a baby. While Kenny is against it, Armando wants to do it. Hence, they aren’t able to make up their mind about what to do.
Danielle & Yohan (Dominican Republic)
Danielle and Yohan first starred in 90 Day Fiance through the Love In Paradise franchise. Then, they appeared in The Other Way Season 4. By the time fans saw the Tell All, they thought the couple was pretty much done. But it seems like there is more to the story. That’s because the couple is all set to star in Season 5 as well.
