“Nancy Lee Grahn’s Emotional Goodbye: The Impact of Her Exit on the General Hospital Community”
We have lost count of the number of times firecracker Alexis has taken Port Charles by storm on General Hospital. However, this time it’s her portrayer, Nancy Lee Grahn, who has created a rager! Or is it really the case? A recent tweet that went up on the celebrated actress’ Twitter account created Frenzy amongst General Hospital fans. It explicitly announced, that she was no longer a part of the legendary ABC soap. Moreover, it stated that the actress is now moving on to “bigger and better things.”
On Tuesday, June 20,2023, around, 5 a.m. this “exit announcement” stumped Alexis and General Hospital fans, as it felt like it came out of nowhere! Fans couldn’t believe what they were reading. But it seems there was a good reason why fans were having a hard time digesting the badly typed out tweet. Apparently, it wasn’t written by Nancy at all! Shortly after the mayhem causing tweet went up, the actress issued an announcement stating that her Twitter account was in fact HACKED!
General Hospital Star Clears The Air About “Her” Tweet
However, it is to be noted that her “exit announcement” from General Hospital was not the only tweet the hacker posted. There were a series of bizarre tweets that went up on Nancy Lee Grahn’s Twitter account. One of them stated that the FBI was after her! Initially, her followers didn’t think much of it and took it as a joke. In fact, one of her followers took a jab at her GH character with a witty comeback. They suggested that she should probably get help from her WSB friends.
Eventually, Nancy put all the craziness to rest by taking back access to her account. The General Hospital star announced that her account was “regrettably & quite obviously” hacked. Furthermore, Nancy apologized for any “harmful rhetoric” posted from her account without her consent. This definitely came as a huge relief to her fans, and they felt reassured that Nancy was, after all not quitting the soap. This incident also much have caused a lot of stress to her, so we are glad that she was able to secure her account.
However, this also goes on to prove that we must not always believe everything that we see up on the internet! We never know what’s the reality behind it! Anyhoo, all is well that en’d well, right?
