General Hospital Recap Highlights
In this episode, Anna, Dante, and Sonny went over the Metro Court shooting case while victim Curtis remained on a ventilator. Molly and Kristina had it out over Kristina’s surrogacy idea while Alexis tried to get Sonny to talk to their daughter about her latest thoughts. Finally, Gladys did her best to make Sasha look bad while Sam and Mac wondered if they could rescue Cody from Selina. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.

General Hospital: Anna Is Always A Crime Fighter
Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) found a man lurking outside Anna’s front door, but Anna (Finola Hughes) didn’t recognize him at all. However, Dante soon realized he was one of Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) henchmen, and Anna realized Sonny had sent someone to protect her. She explained to Dante that she thought she might be who the shooter was after at the Metro Court.

Dante and Anna then brainstormed about the weapon that was used, leading Dante to reveal he was actually able to trace it because the WSB had already confiscated it in 2021, but now it was somehow back in use. Anna was even more alarmed to learn that the shooter had WSB ties and wondered if the Bureau wanted her dead.

Sonny then popped in and admitted that yes, he did have someone watching Anna, and he wasn’t sorry about it. Dante asked his dad the ultimate question — is there any reason the WSB would want him dead? Sonny had no answers, but Anna thought the WSB would never attempt a public assassination on her like that. However, Anna couldn’t stop fighting crime and suggested that she become bait to lure out the shooter.

General Hospital Recap: Ashford And Ashford-Adjacent Woes
The Ashford clan was thrilled to learn that Curtis (Donnell Turner) survived the surgery, but the doctor warned the bullet had done a lot of damage, and they weren’t sure of his prognosis. They gathered outside Curtis’s room to pray, and when one family member was allowed to go in, Trina (Tabyana Ali) was the one to do it. Sadly, Trina had a panic attack looking at her new dad in such a state.

So, Portia (Brook Kerr) sat with Curtis instead and begged him to wake up. As she talked about how much she loved him and why, she begged him to open his eyes, but Curtis remained still.

Earlier, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) told Sonny about Kristina’s (Kate Mansi) new obsession but didn’t mention what it was at first. She wanted Sonny to talk her out of this idea, so Kristina would be angry at her father for a change rather than her mother. Sonny knew this had to be serious and demanded Alexis come clean, but she wanted Sonny to get Kristina to tell him this idea on her own. He said he would, but first, he had another visit to make.

Cody and Gladys proceeded to bicker, and Sasha confessed she was not even sure why she called Cody but then asked to talk to him alone. She seemed to just want a friend to confide in because she felt she screwed up big time and her actions confused her. Nina (Cynthia Watros) was Sasha’s next visitor, and immediately noticed she was acting strange. Gladys made sure to tell Nina that Sasha was in trouble, feigning concern. She even tried to plant the idea in NIna’s head that Sasha was losing touch with reality.

When Gladys and Nina took things into the hall, Gladys brought up the idea of telling the court about the shoplifting incident, and Nina was horrified and wondered if Gladys wanted to cause Sasha more trouble.

On the pier, we learned that Mac (John J. York) was the man who shocked Sam (Kelly Monaco) and interfered with her surveillance on the pier. She told him she was following Selina (Lydia Look), but Mac seemed more concerned with Cody. It turned out that Mac was well aware of the illegal poker games Selina was running out of The Savoy.

Mac believed Curtis was working with Selina, but not because he wanted to. He was also going slow in his investigation so it wouldn’t snare Cody. As they discussed Cody more, Sam revealed that she believed Selina helped get the bracelet charges dropped.
